Before sentencing, the staff of the York County Adult Probation and Parole Department prepares a report for the Court. This is called the presentence investigation ("PSI"). This covers such areas as prior criminal record, family history, educational and employment history, as well as prior treatment history for any type of addiction or illness.

Your attorney should review the PSI for errors or areas where additional detail in the report would be beneficial for you.
